Could you please help me understand Numbers 26:11 "Nevertheless the children of Korah did not die" and Numbers 16:30-32 "But if the Lord...and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the men with Korah, and all their goods."

Numbers 16:27 states, "So they got away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the door of their tents, with their wives, their sons, and their little children."  

Only the sons and the little ones of Dathan and Abiram are mentioned; but not the children of Korah. They therefore escaped, while those of Dathan and Abiram perished with their fathers.
