Does the church prefer the NJKV to one of the Catholic Bibles?
I work in a multimedia book shop organized by Roman Catholic Sisters. Copts and Orthodox Priests come regularly for material for their own studies. I am Orthodox myself from Eritrea. The Sisters advise the Jerusalem Bible. A deacon recently told me that the Jerusalem Bible is not very accurate. Shall I buy a King James version? I am content with the Bible I have now, but if it's not the right translation, it's necessary to get the right one.
