Q&A Home > S > Sin It is written in the Holy Bible in 1 John 3:4-10 that whoever is in Christ does not sin, "Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him … He who sins is of the devil … Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." How is it then that even when we are born again in Christ and 'know' Him that we sin? We sin because humanity is prone to sin. However, because of the power of the Holy Spirit, He helps us to rise, repent, and return. "For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity" (Proverbs 24:16).
