What is the Coptic Orthodox position on the land of Israel? Is it against Zionism or do we believe that this land is for the Jews?

God fulfilled His promise to the Jews when under the leadership of Joshua He gave them the land of Israel, the Promised Land. However, after the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to earth it was clear that the Promise land is no more on earth but in the kingdom of heaven. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem and the dispersion of the whole nation of Israel. Today they should not have any claim to the land more than the Palestinians who live on it.
