Would you allow a Deacon's Coptic hymnology Competition to take place in your Diocese? I understand that we do not learn hymns to show off. However, don't you think that an annual event such as this would promote the spread of hymnology amongst the youth?

I encourage having hymnology competitions and I agree that this is a way for our children and youth to learn and take hymnology seriously. We do have in our Diocese a yearly summer competition in Florida and a hymn Camp. Check for dates on the Diocese web site.
