Can we say that Tubal (Genesis 4:22) was the first idol worshiper?

Tubal-Cain is the first person mentioned as a craftsman of iron and bronze. These metals must have been needed for tilling the ground, as it was the occupation of Cain, their ancestor. It is not certain if he was the first idol worshiper, but hints of idol worshiping up to the time of Enosh may have existed. "And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord" (Genesis 4:26). This sentence introduces the idea that perhaps idol worshiping had already been practiced. It is from the lineage of Seth that our Lord Jesus Christ was a descendent.
