I was on a Protestant website and it said orthodox and catholic could be possessed because we follow a false religion. I should just ignore this? As long as I avoid all forms of occult and evil and continue to follow Christ, I am safe. 

Learn more and more about our Church and stay away from any misleading site. We are an apostolic Church. Our faith is built on the sound doctrine that our Lord Jesus Christ delivered to the apostles. The faith and doctrine we have today has not changed nor been altered in any way from what the apostles delivered to us. Stay away from any site that contradicts our faith as St. Paul taught us, "Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them" (Romans 16:17).
