Q&A Home > G > God > God's Existance How we would know about the existence of God? We know about the existence of God through His creation. Is it possible that all this intricate creation just happened? Countless books have been written documenting the life, system, and reproduction of the smallest insects to the largest beasts, thousands of birds in the air and life in the depth of the seas, animals that roam the earth and all the vegetation that serves the earth and mankind, the rain and the sun and all the functions of the cosmos, and finally, the struggles and accomplishments of humanity. Everything in life has a purpose and could not have created itself. Faith is how we know that God exists. The Apostle Paul defines faith in Hebrews, Chapter 11: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Religious faith is an unquestioning belief in God, confidence in His existence without tangible proof, having complete trust in His word, and strong conviction in His promises. God gave us one Holy Book, in which He reveals Himself to us, provides commandments for conduct and civility, and explains the beginning and end of life on earth, the promise and purpose of salvation, and the eternal life in the age to come.
