I was wondering what is our Church's view on DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders?

DNR orders are very difficult and need thoughtful and spiritual direction. The decision should only be considered by the patient and family in cases of terminal illness or when the quality of life has deteriorated significantly and resuscitation or heroic measures are likely to be through a ventilator and artificial means. The Church vigorously denounces any form of euthanasia.
