But what if I die, as a believer to God, but still have some sins which I had no chance to confess; will God punish me for those sins or will my faith be counted as righteousness apart from works?

God's infinite love and mercies are more than the sand of the sea. He knows your deepest intentions and still loves you. We say in the conclusion of the Prayers of the Hours, "Christ our God, the good, the long suffering, the abundant in mercy,...who does not wish the death of the sinner but rather that he returns and lives." Therefore, live a life of repentance, bear the fruit of repentance, and confess as often as you can. Struggle against all sins and be honest with yourself at all times. There is a crown for those who struggle as well as a crown for those who overcome.

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise" (Psalm 51:17).
