My teenage son would like to read a Christian book called, The Robe by Lloyd Douglas. Is it a good book or is it against Coptic Christian belief?

Your son should first understand that the book The Robe is fiction. It could be confusing because it is based on a historic epoch in time regarding the aftermath of our Lord's crucifixion. There are some familiar characters, but it is not a Christian book. So long as this is clear in his mind, there are no major conflicts that would impede on his Coptic Christian beliefs.
