Q&A Home > R > Rosicrucian Order The idea of reincarnation was contained in the secret teachings of the Church, as were many of the initiatory concepts of Egypt. (A point from the Rosicrucian order site.) False. You must distinguish Coptic Theology as opposed to whatever superstitions may have seeped into the Catholic Church or any other church. The ancient Egyptians did believe in reincarnation. These people were very driven by having a relationship with God or with gods. Thus, they built outrages temples and recorded every detail of their history as though it were biblical. The more they searched for God, the closer they got, until, He came to Egypt, and blessed it forever with His presence. By the grace of God, Egypt has fed the world with scientific knowledge and true spiritual knowledge for many centuries until now, just as Joseph the Chaste fed the nations out of Egypt at the time of the famine. The history of the true Coptic people reveals a nation that continued to progress unto monotheism and relinquished the idea of reincarnation long ago. The strength in the overall Egyptian history has been in their progress towards Christianity which came and remained in Egypt even until now.
