Q&A Home > H > Hypostasis The presence of Christ in the Old Testament is apparent in various encounters with Moses and the burning bush and Abraham and the two angels. Clearly, we see that our Lord Jesus Christ was both present in the Old and New Testaments with the only difference being that our Lord became incarnate in the New Testament. This leads to my question.
What are the hypostatic attributes of our Lord Jesus Christ prior to the incarnation? Co-Creator with the Father? Jesus Christ is the Logos, the Word of God, co-Creator with God, and the visible presence of God (cf. John 1:1-4).
