In my medical school class, they showed us a video on 'intersex' gender and people born with genital abnormalities and are not sure what gender they are, etc. What is the biblical view on this? Are they considered sinful if they change their gender in adulthood? Does it relate to Matthew 19 when our Lord talked about being 'eunuchs' not by choice (as these people are all infertile)?
There is someone that I know that came from Egypt about a month ago, so his wife can give birth to their child in the United States. She gave birth to the baby 2 days ago, but the baby was born with a bad heart. For the baby to survive, they will have to do multiple operations. From my understanding, they will have to operate constantly on the baby for the rest of his life in order for him to live. The father doesn’t want to do any operations and without the operations the baby will die. Is this right or wrong? Should he allow the operations to try to help the baby survive or should he deny the operations and let the baby die so he doesn’t have to suffer for the rest of his life?
Why do we have an appendix? How do we explain having one according to the Bible and not to evolutionary principles of it being a vestigial organ that man used to have when he ate more plants than animals?
