Does the Church oppose the use of contraceptives to lighten menses before marriage or contraceptives after marriage?

The Church admonishes all unmarried individuals to refrain from any kind of sexual activity. The Church does not oppose the use of contraceptives for a serious medical purpose before marriage or preventing fertilization after marriage. Contraceptives cannot be used to prevent implantation after fertilization.
