In Ezekiel, is this temple metaphorical, real, or will happen after the Second Coming (or none of these)?

Although the measurements seem metaphoric for now, they provide a glimpse into the labor and detail that God has put into humanity and the immense and incomprehensible love He has for His children. This takes us back to the beginning of Creation when God skillfully made Adam and Eve and all of Creation for humanity to enjoy. The picturesque new glorified church erases all impurities and again it is prepared for God and humans to dwell together again with a new beginning.

The Coptic Church is also a very vivid icon. The detail in its architecture is standard and precise. The church faces the East and it is the place for the Holy Altar which is sanctified by God in the midst:  1 "Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. 2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side" (Ezek. 27:1-2). Within the church, the baptismal font is located at the north side of the back of the church. This is literally and metaphorically the beginning of the path of Salvation in God's church today and for entering into God's everlasting church when He returns.
