Was it Mary Magdalene the woman caught committing adultery and brought to Jesus by the Jews to be stoned (John 8: 1-12)? If not, did that woman follow our Lord Jesus Christ to the cross? Was her name known or mentioned any where in the Holy Bible?

Mary Magdalene was not caught committing adultery, but was demon possessed; and the Lord cast seven demons out of her (Luke 8:3). The Holy Bible does not mention the name of the woman caught in adultery as having followed the Lord to the cross.
