On the incident of the Transfiguration, a very distinct voice from heaven was heard. How could then our Lord Jesus Christ and the Godhead be one, when in fact two different beings seem to have been on the mountain? Could Your Grace, please explain the three natures of God?

The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are three Persons (hypostases) in one and one in three. They are of one essence, yet distinct from one another. Each One has His own role; For it is the Son who was incarnate and crucified and resurrected from death not the Father, nor the Holy Spirit; although they are all One. During the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ in the river Jordan, we see clearly the manifestation of the Trinity, "When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'" (Mt 3:16-17).
