Q&A Home > S > Spiritual Warfare I am seeking the wisdom of God. How can I keep on being holy and blameless in my daily struggle? In seeking the wisdom of God, I would like to draw your attention to this biblical reference.
"God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God. He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom for us wisdom from God" (I Corinthians 1:27-30).
The wisdom that the Lord Jesus Christ has procured, focused on the heart, the deepest part of man. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8). Although the externals you mentioned are distracters, we should focus on where our heart is. If our hearts are filled with the love of God, this love will stir within us the desire for the things of heaven.
I recommend reading "Spiritual Warfare" by H.H. Pope Shenouda; it has many practical applications.
