Why do I sometimes feel I can be more effective spending time with people who are troubled and lonely and confused instead of trying to make money? I mean people who don't know their purpose in life or lost it. Is that the only way to bring the kingdom of God to them?

Be sincere in your service to all. Our Lord Jesus Christ served everyone, even the scribes and Pharisees and Judas who would betray Him. Do not have any expectations or expect to see the fruit of your labor. Serve whomever you are called to serve as love and service to God.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-34).
