Can Satan repent?
Can you please give me the verses where the Holy Bible talks about the devil? I am confused I can only find Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14. Are there more chapters other than these 2? I thought the Book of Revelation is what is going to happen not what already happened. Isn't this vision from John about the devil making war with heaven a revelation for the future? The Book of Revelation is related to the end of time, isn't it?
How can we be sure that the devil rebelled in the first place? I have come to the conclusion that Ezekiel 28 speaks about the king of Tyre and Isaiah 14 speaks about the Babylonian king. This leaves us the question about Lucifer. I believe he is the devil, but this is not referring to his story—correct or not? Couldn't Isaiah 14 be referring to a spirit possessing the king of Babylon and causing him to exalt himself above the heavenly throne? I'm confused.
I have been asked this question many times and I always struggle to answer it: If God knew that Satan would cause so much trouble in the world, why did He create him? I understand that you might say this is equivalent with how God created us although He knew that we would sin, but we do not sin to the same extent as Satan. God had to hold Satan back due to the temptation and trouble he was causing, and there is even a time where He will let him go. So, why did He go through all this trouble and create him? Satan is practically the core of evil in this world.
If in heaven and around God everything is good, how did Satan fall? How did he even feel jealousy when no evil was present at this time in heaven? Does this mean that in the Second Coming when we are in heaven that we may be exposed to those ideas that wandered us away from God?
Is it possible for Satan to read our minds?
It is said that the devil rebelled against God in heaven. But since heaven is said to be perfect and without sin, then how was it possible for Lucifer to rebel?
Where in the Holy Bible is there a reference to Satan actually being cast out of heaven?
Why, according to the Holy Book of Revelation 20:3, will Satan be set free for a short time after the thousand years of being locked and sealed? Will not all the believers be in heaven by then, and the earth void?
