Besides spiritual readings, is it wrong to read other books such as murder mysteries (fiction), classic romance, fantasy books (Harry Potter) for school purposes and pleasure?
The 9th hour Gospel Pascha Wednesday addresses two incidents, that of the woman who poured the costly fragrant oil on Jesus' head, and Judas' conspiring against Jesus. I don't understand how the first 2 prophecies (Genesis 24:1-9) and (Numbers 20:1-13) are related to the incidents of that day and why they are read specifically in this hour.
What is the rite of the readings on the 29th of each Coptic month?
What is your opinion on devotionals such as "God Calling", "Jesus Calling", etc.? Can we read these in addition to our Bible and spiritual books readings?
