Does humility reside in refusing to do good things just to prove our unworthiness; or to avoid falling in the sin of pride? How do we reconcile this with the fact that we are tools in God's hands, regardless of how we feel?
How can I tell if what I am doing is done for self righteousness and self gratification or for the glory of God and benefits of other people? I do not want to fall in the sin of pride, so could your Grace advise me?
How do you know when you have crossed the line from simply having confidence in yourself and your abilities to falling into the sin of pride? I sometimes feel that if I have high self-esteem, or am very sure on an issue; then I am being proud.
