My mother is very sick with cancer and she needs a miracle to survive. I believe that God's will is perfect and I am relying on it, but I know he also asked us to pray to him and believe in the power of prayer. If it is God’s will that  prevails in the end, what is the use of praying? Is it even worth the asking? Will all our prayers change His will at all?I do not know what exactly to pray for. I feel coldhearted, and somehow guilty for not having prayed strongly for her healing. Your Grace, I'm very confused on this issue. Please tell me how to pray and what to ask of God because I feel that I am dealing with this whole situation the wrong way.

To pray asking God to cure your mother,if it is His will, is the right thing to do. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray and ask for what we want. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Mt 7:7). He specifically taught His disciples that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Lk 18:1). St. Paul said, "Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thess 5:17-18). It is our role to pray incessantly with faith, even when we feel that the situation requires a miracle. However, when you feel "It's all God's will" it does not mean  being coldhearted but on the contrary I see it as accepting and submitting to God's will. St. Paul prayed and pleaded with the Lord to heal him but his request was denied, "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Cor 12:8-9). Continue praying for your mother, and ask the Lord to give you peace and to accept His will thankfully. Prayers can do miracles and move mountains. One of the miracles of praying is the peace we experience in the midst of turmoil. It is living His Holy Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore why the fear and why the confusion? Without asking and praying, Lazarous would  have not been raised, the paralytic man would  have not been  healed, and the blind man would  have not regained his sight.
