Q&A Home > O > Orthodox Faith Are the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Greek Orthodox Church united, or do they still have conflicts between them? Until now the two churches are not in full communion. The common faith is being examined and efforts toward establishing unity are in progress.
In September 1990, the Oriental and the Eastern Orthodox Churches signed an agreement on Christology and recommendations were presented to the different Orthodox Churches to advance the restoration of communion between the two families. For further information on this subject check the Southern Diocese website at http://www.suscopts.org/literature/orthodoxfaith.htmlunder Christology.
