How do you live in a world where you know you don't belong?

There is nothing wrong with staying away from ungodly gatherings. David the Prophet said "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night" (Ps 1:1-2). Leaving does not mean leaving planet earth , for our Lord Jesus Christ prayed saying "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one" (Jn 17:15). We are not from this world meaning we should not comply to the things of the world. God does not want us to seclude ourselves from the world but to continue in and among the world preserving ourselves from the influence of the evil one, for the ruler of this world is the Devil.
