Do the saints in heaven hear our prayers? Do they know our situation on earth; if yes, how; any biblical verse? Do they hear more than one prayer at once?

The answer to these three questions is affirmative. Our knowledge in the other world will increase and many secrets will be revealed to us when we put off the material body which restricts the spirit. In addition, there will be what God reveals to the spirit, which comes within the scope of divine revelation. "For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known" (1 Cor 13:12).

The Holy Book of Revelation tells us that the twenty-four elders "each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev 5:8). This proves that they know these prayers and raise them before God.

In the story of the rich man and Lazarus our father Abraham said to the rich man "But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things" (Luke 16:25) how did our father Abraham come to know the evil Lazarus suffered and how could he say about the rich man’s family 'they have Moses and the prophets’ though he departed earth hundreds of years before Moses and the other prophets.

In the Holy Book of 2 Chronicles 21:12 we read about King Jehoram who after killing all his brothers receives a letter from Elijah the prophet, who had departed from earth and ascended to heaven many years previous to that, warning him that the Lord would strike him. Also in the event of transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appeared with the Lord Jesus Christ and were speaking about His departure (Luke 9:31).
