• How can one distinguish between God’s voice speaking to us and our own thoughts? I understand that it may come during prayer, or meditation, but how do I know it is God's will, and not the Devil playing tricks on me. Are there any identifying signs to God’s will?
• How do I know if I am following the will of God or not? I tried praying and asking God for help and asking for signs and to direct me in the right path but I do not feel like I am getting any answers from my prayers.
• How do we know God's will and purpose for our lives?
• How do you know what God's will is for you? I prayed for God to show me a sign to lead me in the right path but I did not get a straightforward answer. Are we supposed to get a straightforward answer or what? Also, sometimes I tend to forget or doubt that God does everything for a reason that will benefit us. Maybe because sometimes I do not understand His reasoning, I just wanted to know what to do when I start doubting.
• I've been asking God for a sign of approval on something I have been praying for. Is this an acknowledged way of hearing from God, that is through certain signs we put ourselves?
