Q&A Home > F > Feminism Why are there no female writers on feminism in the Coptic Orthodox Church? Unfortunately the number of female writers in general is low and in particular in the Coptic Church. We do recognize the great work of Iris Habib El-Masry who wrote several volumes on the history of the Church. The Church does not oppose writing about feminism in its right context. The fact that no one has done it before is not the fault of the church.
