In the second book of the annuls of Judah & Israel Kings 2, the prophet Elijah had been taken away or caught up to heaven (2 Kings 2:11), but after many years had passed away in the second book of annulus of Judah & Israel chronicles. Chapter 21:12-15, says that Jehoram, king of Judah and the son of Joshaphat had received a written letter from the prophet Elijah. Please cross-examine thoroughly this intensive & extensive as well as exegetical & expository cross-reference in order to prove & approve this contradictory scripture, chapters, & verses, amen. Anyway, the Creator or God is known by what He had created, the creation, or creature, or nature that is empty or vacuum space and matter that is the axiom or self-evident truth since nothing could have been further and/or farther from the truth: for instance, we exist and live and have our being by Him (God); this means in other words, it is that you are certain that you are alive along with the universe, amen.

There is no mention of Elijah in 2 Kings 21:12-15
“therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle. 13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. 14 So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies, 15 because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.’”

There came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet - From 2 Kings 2:11, it is evident that Elijah had been translated in the reign of Jehoshaphat, the father of Jehoram. How then could he send a letter to the son? Some say he sent it from heaven by an angel; others, that by the spirit of prophecy he foresaw this defection of Jehoram, and left the letter with Elisha, to be sent to him when this defection should take place; others say that Elijah is put here for Elisha; and others, that this Elijah was not the same that was translated, but another prophet of the same name. There are others who think that, as Elijah was still in the body, for he did not die, but was translated, he sent this letter from that secret place in which he was hidden by the Almighty. All the versions have Elijah, and all the MSS. the same reading. Dr. Kennicott contends that Elisha was the writer; for Elijah had been taken up to heaven thirteen years before the time of this writing. Our margin says, the letter was written before his assumption, and refers to 2 Kings 2:1.

There is no mention in either of these two books or actually in any of the holy books about Elijah's repose. What is known about the prophet Elijah is that "he went up by a whirlwind into heaven" (2 Kings 10:11). The Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew mentions new evidence regarding the life of Elijah when our Lord Jesus Christ transfigured in the presence of three of His disciples. Here the prophets Elijah and Moses appeared and conversed with Christ.

The Holy Books of the Chronicles (1 & 2) provide us with a detailed documentary of the history of specific eras. There are some instances where more information and some where less information is provided. This does not in any way indicate discrepancies or contradictions. By reading Kings 1 & 2 and Chronicles 1 & 2, you gain to benefit by having a comprehensive understanding.
