What is the meaning of "Likewise also those dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries" (Jude 8)? What is the relationship between the dreamers and the verse before the one in which Sodom and Gomorra is mentioned?

The dreamers were the false prophets who were unbelieving and disobedient. They denied the Lord and thus were living in an unreal world of deception.

They were as rebellious against the authority of God as the fallen angels, and as impure and unholy as the Sodomites. They despised all law, and wished to live as they list. They treated governors and government with contempt, and misrepresented all divine and civil institutions. Consequently they should expect similar punishment as that of Sodom and Gomorrah.
