- Did Jesus baptize His disciples? Who received the Holy Spirit at the Pentecost? I'm just a little confused because if our Lord Jesus baptized His disciples, it makes sense that they are the ones to receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost; but St. Mary and the rest of the women were not baptized yet?
- In the Gospel according to St Luke 6:14 (KJV): Simon, (whom He also named Peter), and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, v15: Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, v16: and Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
Please Father, send me if you have any books or lectures which teach about the twelve apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to know all about their backgrounds because some people ask me, so I need to know.
- Were all of the 72 Apostles also disciples?
- Why did the Disciples who were "out fishing in the Sea of Galilee" (John 21:4-7) not recognize the Lord at first? And when they did, "Now, none of the Disciples dared ask Him, 'who are You?' They knew it was the Lord" (John 21:12)? Why did they not dare ask Him?
