Do the people in paradise (or in Hades) feel the time as we do?
Does our Lord delimit age a specific number of years of humans? I have heard that God knows when a man dies, but does He not specify the day of his death?
How can one cope with the death of their beloved ones? Why should we pray for the sick; if they are going to die anyway?
I am freaking out at the moment. It has hit me all of a sudden that I am going to die one day. I am terrified. Really terrified. To the point that I have had panic attacks and almost black out due to the fact that I am scared not knowing what happens after I die. I have read the questions and answers on the website but it gives me little comfort as it just touches on the topic. What will be the next stage after we die? Will we take a human form and always be happy? Will we taste the beautiful fruits and see lovely clothes and be joyous all the time? Will we have feelings, memories, and everything else? I am freaking out just writing this. I have a strong belief. But now, I have hit realization that one day I will die and will not wake up again until Judgment Day. I am terrified and I do not know how to handle this.
Is it a true statement that God terminates our lives on earth when we are ready the most?
Is it wrong to fear death? If you do, does it necessarily mean that you are on a wrong path? Is it just part of our weak nature? I read that even St. Gregory the Theologian himself had this fear of death.
My son, who is 6 years old, asked if when humans die, their physical bodies remain on earth and their spirits go to heaven, where is God's body? How does He look like? Why has He never been seen?
